Bewdley salon aims to be the most wanted
STAFF at a Bewdley hair salon are celebrating being a cut above the rest after being chosen as finalists for a prestigious hairdressing award.
Abacus Hair Salon, in the High Street, is one of the finalists for the best salon experience prize at Creative Head magazine’s most wanted awards.
The hairdressers will face competition from four other salons, based in Cardiff, London and Cheltenham, at the ceremony, which will take place on Monday, September 2, at the capital’s Natural History Museum.
Salon owner, Allison Ford, said: “The team and I were thrilled to receive the letter to say we had been selected as a finalist for the best salon experience.
“We strive to make customer service our number one priority here at Abacus and we really hope we do our customers proud and bring home the most wanted trophy in September.
“We are up against some of the best salons in the United Kingdom so, for us, there is no bigger accolade.”
Awards will be presented by VIPs from the worlds of fashion, the arts and the media in front of an audience of hairdressing icons, beauty editors and celebrities.
