Man pleads guilty to Kidderminster Co-op robbery

A MAN has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob Co-op stores throughout the Midlands and Staffordshire, including one in Kidderminster.
Amandeep Singh, 25, from Salisbury Road, Birchfield, Birmingham, was due to stand trial at Stafford Crown Court on Monday but pleaded guilty beforehand.
Singh will now be sentenced alongside his co-accused Ryan Landon Shaw, 20, from Sedgebourne Way, Northfield, Birmingham, who previously admitted nine offences of conspiracy to rob and Jani Joseph Wright, 25, of Conybere Street, Birmingham, who previously admitted 10 offences of conspiracy to rob.
All three men were charged in connection with 15 robberies at Co-op stores across the region during a 10-month period last year, including one on Wednesday, January 4, at Kidderminster’s Stourport Road store.
They will be sentenced at the court on Monday, December 2.
