Emergency services attend traffic incidents in Clows Top
11:00am Tuesday 14th January 2014 in Local
EMERGENCY services have attended two traffic accidents in just over an hour in Clows Top.
Fire, ambulance and police crews were called to a stretch of the A456, outside the Colliers Arms pub, at about 8.20am today after reports of a female trapped in a car which had turned on to its side.
The woman was released by fire crews from Kidderminster and Bewdley and checked over by an ambulance crew. She was not said to have suffered any significant injuries.
A second incident occurred on Worcester Road in the same village at about 9.25am when fire crews were called to an incident involving two vehicles. No people were trapped but one male was checked over by a paramedic from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Meanwhile in Kidderminster, police are directing traffic after an accident on Habberley Road at its junction with Habberley Lane.
Causes of the accidents couldn't be confirmed but Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have this morning warned drivers of icy conditions on the road.
HWFireSafety tweeted: "Fire crews attended seven road traffic collisions yesterday across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It's icy out there so take care and adjust your driving to suit the conditions."
