POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two people were seriously injured in a collision near Bewdley.
The incident happened on the A456 at Callow Hill outside Rousbine caravan park at 2.30am on Saturday and involved a white Ford Transit van.
The van was travelling towards Tenbury Wells when it left the road and collided with a tree and a wall.
Both the driver and passenger sustained what were feared to be life-threatening injuries, and were treated over the weekend in the intensive care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Cleobury Mortimer, sustained broken bones and a head injury. He is in a stable condition and is expected to be transferred from intensive care to a ward later today.
The passenger, a 25-year-old man from Cleobury Mortimer, sustained facial and chest injuries, and a possible serious head injury, but is expected to be allowed home later today.
