BRAVE residents at a Stourport care home had an educational visit from some scary creatures from tarantalas to corn snakes.
Staff at Ravenhurst Residential Care Home were amazed at how fearless their residents were when they came face-to-face with the animals.
Animals for Parties, an organisation which provides educational animal visits, spent the day at the home with a selection of unusual and exotic species, including a corn snake, tarantula and giant millipedes.
The home’s activities leader Carla Siwicki said: “It was the best day ever, our residents absolutely loved it.
“They really shocked the team here by how brave they were, they had snakes draped around their necks and were holding tarantulas.”
The home provides care for the elderly, including residential care and dementia care.
