EASTER was egg-stra special for residents at a Stourport care home who welcomed 12 fluffy feathered friends as they hatched just in time.
Ravenhurst Residential Care Home recently took delivery of 12 eggs, which the residents have been watching and looking after in an incubator.
Activities leader Carla Siwicki said: “The chicks have made Easter at Ravenhurst even more special and our residents have absolutely loved seeing them hatch and getting to hold them.”
Resident Thelma Longmore, 82, said: “It was lovely to watch the eggs hatch and to hold the fluffy chicks."
The residents have given the chicks names beginning with the letter h, from Hilda to Henrietta.
