PUPILS of Great Witley Primary School joined other schools from all over Worcestershire to take part in a reception class music festival.

The animal-themed festival saw more than 220 children, all dressed as various animals, attend Chantry High School in Martley to sing together.

Primary schools attending the event included Bayton CE, Abberley Parochial VC, Lindridge St Lawrence CE, Broadheath CE, Clifton, Broadwas CE, Martley CE, Grimley and Holt CE and Tenbury CE. Students from Chantry High school also performed during the festival.

Anna Martin, a parent governor of Great Witley School and event organiser, said: “All the children were taught a song at school that they came together to perform as a group.

“We had 225 children in total all dressed as animals singing and dancing together.” She added: “It was a very lively day.”
