TWO fires involving fly-tipping in different areas of Wyre Forest had to be put out by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service over night.
Crews from Kidderminster were alerted first, at 10.06pm, to a large quantity of rubbish which was alight in the open in Timber Lane, Stourport.
The crew then attended a fire at 1.31am in Sladd Lane, Wolverley, which involved two lots of fly-tipped rubbish.
They extinguished the fire in Stourport with one hose reel, while two hose reel jets were needed to put out the fire in Wolverley.
