A BIG-HEARTED Kidderminster family is organising its second fundraising event for charity.

Mandy Priest, of Ray Mercer Way, and her daughters, Donna Monger, 28, and Lisa Hemming, 35, are running the evening at Kidderminster's Gainsborough Hotel on September 12, starting at 7.30pm.

Proceeds will be split between Kidderminster Hospital League of Friends' scanner appeal and the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA).

Attractions include a performance by youngsters from the Ges Smeg Morris, Expressions School of Dance and face painting.

There will also be a disc jockey, stalls selling clothing, jewellery, toys and gifts, a raffle and games.

Mrs Priest, 51, said: "We organised a similar evening last year and raised £800 for the scanner appeal.

"We had such a good time we decided to do it again.

"This time we are hoping to raise even more - possibly £1,000 or more."

Around 60 tickets have been sold so far.

They can be bought, at £5 each, by calling Mrs Priest on 07807122608 or on the door on the night.
