THE first ever Bridal Fashion Show at Hartlebury Castle, near Kidderminster, will take place at the end of the month.

The show, on Sunday, September 28, will form part of the Castle’s forthcoming autumn wedding fayre in the former Bishop’s Palace and State Rooms from 11.00am to 3pm.

Jacqui Watson, vice-chairman of Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, said the Castle was trilled to be hosting its first bridal fashion show.

"Our wedding fayres are becoming increasingly popular, and we are delighted to be able to present our biggest ever display of wedding suppliers, many of whom are exhibiting for the first time too," she said.

The fayre which is free to enter gives visitors an opportunity to visit the Castle’s Georgian Saloon, which will also play host to a demonstration wedding at 12noon, the Castle Chapel and to take a turn around the Castle’s wonderful carriage circle, which will be home to a selection of vintage wedding cars for the day.

The fayre, which is being held to raise funds for Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, will also include a raffle, offering the chance to win vintage jewellery and the Castle’s Kitchen Café will be serving special afternoon teas. Brides will also be given a free goodie bag on arrival.
