PUPILS of two Stourport primary schools received a visit from renowned storyteller John Rowe during a day of story writing and poetry.
John’s storytelling techniques "inspired" the children of Wilden All Saints CE Primary and Burlish Park Primary to create stories of their own.
Francesca Fishwick, headteacher of Wilden All Saints, said: “The day was organised to promote a love of writing amongst the children and to give them the opportunity to work alongside children from other schools in the local area.
“The workshop was a real success and we look forward to hosting more author lead workshops at Wilden over the course of the year.”
John said “The children I worked with were incredibly inspirational and it was a joy to work with them.”
