A CARPET firm employee is seeking wall to wall support for her charity fundraising efforts as she bids to be crowned Miss Worcestershire.

Chloe Palmer, from Kidderminster, is looking to win the coveted title of Miss Worcestershire 2014 at a ceremony on November 2 when she competes in her first ever beauty contest.

As part of her challenge, the 20-year-old customer service administrator at Brintons carpets will don a monkey ‘onesie’ and complete an assault at Go Ape in Wyre Forest to help raise cash for the charity Beauty with a Purpose.

The organisation supports local good causes with money going to help disadvantaged children in the area.

The competition also requires Chloe to make her own ‘eco-dress’ which she has done by using pieces of old carpet.

Chloe said: “This is my first ever beauty pageant and something I always wanted to do. I’m very nervous but taking part will be fun.

“I’ve had a lot of support from my sponsor Bella Sposa Bridal Boutique, who I have previously done some modelling for, and Brintons.

“All the girls taking part are getting along really well and we are all changing people’s opinions of these competitions.

“I’ve really got into the charity work and looking forward to my challenge. They support local charities and I’m looking to raise as much money as possible for them.”
