CHILDREN at a Wyre Forest school are celebrating following the unveiling of their newly refurbished play area.
Heathfield School, in Wolverley, near Kidderminster, has had a new all weather surface in its enclosed play area to enable nursery pupils to enjoy it all year round.
In the past during bad weather, youngsters have not been able to use the area as it has been left soggy. But the new pitch is hard wearing and practical, as well as being soft and bouncy for the safety of the children.
Headmaster, Roger Brierly said, "This is a wonderful all year round asset for the nursery that will give the children the opportunity to play on a perfect surface whatever the weather."
