POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted as he walked his dogs in Springfield Park in Kidderminster on Saturday, January 10.
The man was approached by two Dalmatian dogs at 10am on the Saturday morning as he walked his greyhound in the park. The Dalmatians then bit the man’s greyhound on the leg and injured it.
Following a verbal altercation with the owner of the Dalmatians the man is believed to have been assaulted.
West Mercia Police are now appealing for information to trace the man who has been described as white, approximately fifty-years-old and of a stocky build with dark hair. He was also thought to be wearing a dark blue coat.
Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to get in touch with police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the incident reference 308s of January 10.
