THE Kidderminster branch of Sainsbury’s has this week launched its annual Active Kids scheme.

Customers to the Carpet Trades Way store can now collect vouchers to help registered schools, groups and clubs in the town to receive equipment which encourages healthier and active lifestyles.

The scheme, which is celebrating its 10th birthday, aims to offer support to children to eat, move and live well.

Helen Bower, of Kidderminster Sainsbury’s, said: “The Active Kids scheme is a brilliant way for our colleagues to get involved with schools, groups and clubs in our local area.

“We love visiting local organisations and seeing the benefits the equipment and experiences have brought to the children.”

New equipment has been added to the assortment of items available to collect in 2015, including cooking and nutrition toolkits and recipe cards to keep children excited about cooking.

The vouchers can be collected from the Kidderminster store until May 5.
