THE Community Housing Group has donated Kidderminster Harriers tickets to four local primary schools for the third year running.

Through the ongoing support of the Kidderminster Harriers, the Community Housing Group based in Kidderminster has been able to donate an allocation of adult and children tickets to each school, which they will use to reward pupils and to help fundraise for sports equipment.

The tickets will provide Wyre Forest young people and their families with the opportunity to go along and watch their local team while experiencing the excitement and thrills of a live sporting event.

Mark Searl, commercial manager at the football club, said: “We are pleased to help support the Community Housing Group’s initiative to supply local schools with tickets for matches.

“The club plays an integral part in the community and hopefully those receiving tickets will have an enjoyable afternoon with us.”

Ray Brookes, chief executive of the Community Housing Group, said: “Partnerships like this are an important part of how we demonstrate the added value that we bring to the communities we work within.

“It will enable more children to enjoy a live sporting event and a fun experience they won’t forget. Not only are we supporting a local business and local football team, but the promotion of healthy living and sport.”
