EASTER bunnies from a farm will be the star attraction at a Kidderminster school’s Easter Fayre on Friday.

Visitors to Birchen Coppice Primary School’s fayre, on March 27, will be able to stroke and feed the rabbits from Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm, in Bromsgrove, which gives disadvantaged inner-city children a taste of the countryside.

The charity has been providing residential stays and day visits for disabled and underprivileged children for 65 years.

Kelly Broadfield, resident warden at the farm, said: “The rabbits and I are looking forward to meeting the children at Birchen Coppice’s Easter Fayre.

“We are very pleased to have been invited and hope lots of people will come and enjoy the fun.”

Jason Cortis, community activities coordinator at the school, said: “Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm is a fantastic charitable organisation that works on issues close to our schools heart, so it’s great to have them visit us at Easter with their rabbits.

“We are so grateful for their support and encourage more schools to work with them in the future.”
