A MAN has denied stealing an electrical cable, four wheel hubs, and a pair of work boots claiming he found them dumped on the side of the road.
Tommy Smith appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, May 14, also charged with using a vehicle without insurance and without a valid license on April 1, the same date of the alleged theft, but he pleaded guilty to these two offences.
The 35-year-old, of Jubilee Drive, Kidderminster, will appeared before magistrates again on August 7 and was granted unconditional bail to attend court for a trial on that date.
He was not sentenced for the driving offences as chairman of the magistrates Tim Morris said they were linked and would need to be sentenced together if he was found to be guilty of the theft.
