An accident has caused the closure of the A38 Worcester Road in Wychbold, between the Crown Lane junction and M5 Junction 5 in Droitwich. There are severe delays and police are directing traffic.
If you use the M54 in Staffordshire and the M5, then road works are causing heavy congestion. The pressure points are between Junction 10a of the M54 and Junction 8 of the M5.
Other places to avoid include: *B4175 Stalling’s Lane in Kingswinford – water main works between Charterfield Drive and Second Avenue junctions mean temporary traffic lights are in operation.
*A456 Coventry Street in Kidderminster. Temporary traffic lights are being used at the Leswell Lane junction so drivers are warned of delays.
