TALENTED young footballers from a Kidderminster school hit the back of the net after winning a soccer tournament.
St Catherine’s School A Team came topped the league in the Kidderminster Harriers Primary Schools’ Tournament held over a year.
Harriers organised the competition for Year 5 and 6 primary pupils, which saw schools in the area play each other at Baxter College and at White Wickets Park
At the end of the season, St Catherine’s CE Primary School team was crowned champions having only lost one of their 32 games.
Year 6 pupil Joe Baynton said: “It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully next year the next year 6 will be able to have this experience.”
