A MAN who assaulted his wife was sentenced to a community order by a Kidderminster district judge.
Graham Oliver appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 30, pleading guilty to assaulting Kayleigh Oliver, which Mark Soper, prosecuting, said was by beating on July 13.
After receiving a recommendation from West Mercia Probation Service, District Judge Nigel Cadbury sentenced Oliver, of Anchor Drive, Stourport, to a 12-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 25 days. He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay a £150 court charge, £85 in prosecution costs, and a £60 victim surcharge.
