KIND Wyre Forest residents laced up their walking shoes for a trek along a canal to help raise funds for a military charity.
The team of walkers made the 26 mile journey from Kidderminster to Birmingham and raised more than £400 for the Walking with the Wounded charity.
Members of the team included current serving and former soldiers and Wyre Forest School teaching assistants Susie Griffiths and Rosie Hopkins.
Teenager Private Josh Bayliss, who also took part in walk, was named best junior soldier by Army Foundation College Harrogate earlier this year.
Susie Griffiths said: “Rosie's husband Ian coordinated the route and walked from Kidderminster to Birmingham along the canal for the Walking with the Wounded charity.
“Between the whole team, we have raised more than £400 for the charity. Two of the team are new soldiers and one an ex-soldier so the charity was close to all our hearts.
“It was an amazing experience despite pushing our bodies to their limits.”
