A MAN suffered fractures to his face after he was punched and kicked in Kidderminster town centre.

The victim - a 24-year-old man - was attacked down an alleyway in Dixon Street, near to Anatolio's Pizza and Kebab shop.

The incident took place between 4.45am and 5am on Sunday, April 17, and it is thought the attack was unprovoked.

The offender is described as a white man, about 25-years-old, wearing black jeans, a black top with white writing on, and of a stocky build.

A man in his twenties has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until April 27.

West Mercia Police officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the scene and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have any information about the incident to call 101, quoting incident reference number 140S of April 17.
