CASH has been stolen from a nursery and farm shop in Lower Chaddesley, near Kidderminster, this morning.

West Mercia Police officers were alerted at around 4am this morning (Monday, April 25) that a number of offenders had forced entry to Rowberry's Nursery and Farm Shop.

The owner of the premises attended the location after being informed by the alarm company that the alarm had been activated.

When the owner attended the scene, he could hear voices and saw three men run from the scene.

It appears a quantity of cash has been stolen from the shop. It is currently unknown how the offenders left the scene.

One of the offenders is believed to be around 6ft tall and the other slightly shorter and of a stockier build. There is currently no description of the third offender.

A scene guard remains in place as detectives and forensic officers continue to conduct their enquiries.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
