WYRE Forest scouts proudly paraded through the district and took part in events to mark St George’s Day.
Severn and Teme Scout, which covers Bewdley, Stourport, Abberley, Far Forest and Tenbury, celebrated throughout the weekend with marches and activities.
Bewdley scouts joined Bewdley Guides for a camp fire celebration at Ryhdd Covert on Saturday (April 23) for St Georges Day with traditional songs.
Far Forest paraded to Holy Trinity Church on the morning of Sunday while, in the afternoon, Stourport Scouts and Guides paraded from Memorial park to the Civic Hall.
They were joined by the Stourport Mayor for the traditional hymns and presentation of badges and awards.
The Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs, Guides and Scouts also renewed their promises
Brett Carrier, of Severn and Teme District Scouts, said: “Everyone enjoyed the days and we were blessed with good weather.
“A thank you goes out to all those that organised the events, the Civic volunteers for preparing the Civic Hall, those that made sure the roads were marshalled, those that prepared the refreshments and to the Bewdley and Stourport Scout and Guide bands for leading the parades.”
