A KIDDERMINSTER hospice will throw open its doors to the public next month with a plant fair to help raise much needed funds.
Kemp will host the event from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, June 4 with nurseries and gardens in the area donating an assortment of plants.
Kidderminster Horticultural Society will also be attending on the day to offer advice and guidance to any keen gardeners.
Cathy Sloan, Head of Fundraising, said: “As well as the plant fair we will be offering supporters the opportunity to have a look around the hospice and to talk to us about the range of services we provide, free of charge, to the Wyre Forest community.
“These services are made possible through the generosity of the local community and our open day is a great way to show our supporters what they have achieved.”
Last year’s event raised almost £1,000 which enabled Kemp to provide four Hospice at Home shifts in the community ensuring respite care for carers and families.
