DARING employees from a Kidderminster hotel made a giant leap in their fundraising efforts for the town’s hospice.

Hogarths Stone Manor’s event manager Ellie Carpenter and restaurant and bar boss Edy Dicevicius took part in a 13,000 feet sky dive.

And their impressive and bold efforts saw them raise £950 for Kemp Hospice.

Ellie, 26, who has been supporting the charity since she was at school, set an ambitious target of £600, which she is delighted to have exceeded.

She said: “It was a great mental and physical challenge for us both but well worth the experience to raise this fantastic amount for such a very needy cause.”

Edy, aged 33, said: “It was a great thrill once the adrenalin kicked in. We are both contemplating what adventure to undertake next.”
