A SERIAL fundraiser will be lacing up her trainers to trek from London to Brighton to raise funds for a children’s cancer charity.

Julie Hardiman, of Kidderminster, will take on the 100km journey on Saturday (May 28) with personal trainer Luan Wall.

In February, the duo completed the seven marathons in seven days challenge by taking part in the Hot Runner – which consisted of 10K, half marathons and marathons.

Julie has been raising funds for Children with Cancer UK since 2010, raising more than £20,000.

She said: “The donations I received from family and friends before, during and after the Hot Runner event were unbelievable.

“Our next joint challenge is London to Brighton. We start the 100km journey on Saturday morning and will continue through the night until we cross the finish line.

“We are both raising money for Children with Cancer UK and would love people to support us once again to help raise much needed funds.”

Children with Cancer UK funds research into causes and treatments and supports families affected by cancer.
