A FLASHER performed a 'lewd act' in front of two young girls in a Kidderminster park on Monday, leading West Mercia Police to launch an appeal for witnesses.
A nine year-old girl and a 14 year-old girl were walking a dog in Brinton's Park near to Talbot Street, when they sat down on a grass slope at approximately 6pm on June 20.
A man – who is described as white, in his 50s, with a small amount of grey and white hair, and wearing a blue or black smart suit, a white shirt and a tie – then performed a lewd act.
A police spokesperson said: "An unknown man was walking around and sat down on a bench about 10 metres away from the girls.
"He then stood up, exposed himself and performed a lewd act, before walking off towards the bandstand.
"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information.
"Please call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 634S of 20 June 2016.
"Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online via their website."
