A KIDDERMINSTER charity is delivering a new programme designed to tackle loneliness and social isolation for older residents in the area.

Simply Limitless will be hosting an event as part of a county-wide Reconnections campaign at the open air market in Kidderminster on Thursday, August 18, from 10am until 4pm.

A showcase will take place from 11am.

Paul Raper, chief executive of the charity, said: "The Simply Limitless Wellbeing Centre are privileged to be the delivery partner for Reconnections in the Wyre Forest district.

"The purpose behind the showcase is to raise awareness of the extent of social isolation and loneliness in the Wyre Forest and to encourage people to see if Reconnections is for them."

The initiative, which is commissioned by Worcestershire County Council and Clinical Commissioning Groups across the county, is being carried out across Worcestershire.
