WHO let the dog out?
That may be the question posed by a dog owner in Redditch today after firefighters from Bewdley were called into action to rescue a precarious pooch from the roof of their house.
Firefighters from Bewdley stepped in to assist Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s team in Redditch after a dog found herself stranded on a roof in Sycamore Drive.
Fortunately, Millie the dog was saved shortly before 11am during a rescue operation today (Wednesday, August 17), with the canine’s paws now firmly back on the ground.
A tweet from the Bewdley fire crew said: "Working @ Redditch today with Red Watch @ have just rescued Millie the dog off her owners roof."
