RESIDENTS and businesses in Kidderminster who were hit by a power for the majority of today (August 19), should now have all power restored.
Western Power Distribution confirmed at around 8.45am that more than 500 properties in the DY10 postcode area of the town had lost power, but they hoped to have all supplies restored by 10am.
A spokesman for the company said that at around 10.15am engineers had restored most supplies to residents in the area and aimed to have all power back on by 2pm this afternoon.
A spokesman said: "There were more than 500 properties affected initially, which is down to 75 now.
"Engineers are working to restore the power as quickly as possible."
But 3.50pm the company confirmed power had been restored to all those affected.
A spokesman said: "All customers affected by the powercut in Kidderminster DY10 have had their supply restored.
"Our apologies for any inconvenience."
