COUNCIL bosses have adopted a revised guide that provides information on contributions developers will be required to make towards infrastructure and services within the district.
The Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides details on type of developer contributions for things like education, transport and open space, which will be sought within the Wyre Forest district.
It was adopted by Wyre Forest District Council on Tuesday, September 13, and replaces the Planning Obligations SPD from 2007.
Work on the new document started in 2015, when the council undertook a consultation - this helped form a draft guide and further consultation took place before the final guidelines were approved.
Councillor Tracey Onslow, cabinet member for planning and economic regeneration, said: "If a development is well planned it can offer a great benefit to the community.
"This revised supplementary planning document is helping developers to know what their contribution will be to minimise any potential negative impact on things like environment, facilities and services."
