A KIDDERMINSTER teenager was given the starring role at a traditional annual Worcestershire festival.
Tabitha Ashcroft-Wilson was crowned ‘Mistletoe Queen’ at the Tenbury Mistletoe Festival, that was held in Tenbury Wells on Saturday, December 3.
Tenbury Wells is the UK capital of mistletoe and the festival is the only one of its kind featuring a host of events and fundraising activities.
Being crowned queen was the latest honour for 15-year-old Tabitha, who has also been named ‘head girl’ at Tenbury High School which she attends.
Her proud dad Glen Wilson said: “We are so proud of Tabitha. She works extremely hard and is a great girl.
“It was wonderful to see her being crowned Mistletoe Queen. It was a great event and she really enjoyed herself.”
