A BEWDLEY woman has had her debut novel published after winning a publisher's Search for a Star competition.
Jayne Hall, from Bewdley, won ChocLit Publishing's Search for a Star competition for an unpublished romantic novel last year.
Now, the resulting debut novel, now called 'The Girl on the Beach' has been released as an e-book, under her pen name, Morton S. Gray.
Her novel, begins when Ellie Golden meets Harry Dixon and can't help but feel she recognises him from somewhere. But when she finally realises who he is, she can't believe it - because the man she met on the beach all those years before wasn't called Harry Dixon. And, what's more, that man is dead.
Jayne said: "I am so thrilled and excited to see many years of hard work come to fruition."
The e-book can be purchased from Amazon, iBooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and Google Play.
