KIND dancers from a Wyre Forest academy will be putting their best feet forward this weekend to raise funds for charity.

Zennor’s Dance and Musical Academy will present an indoor fete with stalls, raffle, refreshments as well as singing and dancing at The Civic Hall, Stourport on Sunday, March 19.

The aim of the event, which takes place from 12noon to 3pm is to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK charity. A representative from the charity will be guest speaker.

They have chosen to do the event after one of the academy’s students Abigail Monger was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

With this in mind both Abigail and her mum Dawn Wright, who also is part of the academy, have joined forces with the principle Zennor McGuire to put together a fun packed day of fundraising in aid of Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

Their aim is to to raise awareness and help others in the same position as Abbie by raising money that will help support by providing essential services locally and improve existing treatments to others.

Zennor said: “The academy loves to do charity work, especially when it’s so close to home – Abigail used to dance with us when we first started out but became too ill to carry on, unaware of her cause of illness. Dawn, Abi’s Mum dances now herself in our adult classes when she can, as it has been a tough time for them all lately.”
