FIRE engulfed 100 tonnes of hay in Stone on Saturday afternoon (April 15).
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze in Stanklyn Lane on the A448 at 1.04pm on Saturday, April 15.
A crew from Bewdley and another from Kidderminster's Green Watch 24 rushed to the scene and a Land Rover was used to transport firefighters and their equipment to the blaze in a field.
Water was augmented from Stanklyn Pool, using three hose reel jets, to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire Bewdley said: "Thanks to the digger driver who assisted us today saving us hours of labour."
No one was reported injured.
