A SPRING craft fair will be held in Kidderminster this weekend to help raise funds for a church.

St George’s Church, on Radford Avenue, is hosting its fourth craft fair on Saturday, April 22 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

The aim of the event is to raise money for the church and help support its charitable work.

Katie Hudson, event organiser said: “We thought it would be lovely to hold another of our craft fayres immediately after Easter, so that there is something else to visit while the children are still on holiday.

“We have over 15 local crafters joining us for the afternoon with a wide array of exciting handmade crafts, gifts and foods including cakes, preserves, pies, cards, plaques, toys, bags, health and well-being products, knitwear, jewellery, accessories and ornaments.”

The event is running in conjunction with St George's Fun Day in the Park, also on Radford Avenue, with refreshments for both events being available in the Church.

The refreshments are free, but everyone is encouraged to make a donation to the Church if they can.

Entry to the event is free and for more information contact Katie on 01562 60370.
