WYRE Forest Vegans will be putting people to the test at a quiz night fundraiser for a good cause.

The event will take place on Thursday April 26 at St Michael’s and All Angels Church Hall in Stourport and will raise funds for the animal rescue work carried out by Kidderminster and District RSPCA.

The quiz night also includes a free all-you-can-eat vegan buffet for those looking to challenge their knowledge in aid of the animal welfare charity .

Wyre Forest Vegans Co-ordinator, Ronald Lee, said: “Our local RSPCA branch does excellent work in rescuing and finding good homes for abandoned and ‘unwanted’ cats, dogs and other animals.

“The branch also offers low-cost neutering and microchipping and provides advice on animal care.

“They receive no funding from the central RSPCA, and are always in desperate need of financial support, so they can help as many animals as possible.

“That’s why, as a group that believes in compassion towards all animals, we are very pleased to be staging this quiz night to raise funds for them.”

People who want to find out more about animals needing homes or donate to the local RSPCA can do so via their website rspca-kidderminster.org.uk.

The quiz night will start at 7pm. Tickets for the event cost £10 and can be obtained by contacting quizfundraiserrspca@gmail.com or by calling 07780 653962.
