AN exhibition featuring entries from a prestigious photographic competition has been launched at Bewdley Library.
The exhibition features a selection from the 2008 and 2009 entries of the CIWEM (Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management) Environmental Photographer of the Year competition.
The photographs on display cover a range of subjects, including a spectacular Australian dust storm, joyous affirmations of nature and life, a detailed close up of ants on a dandelion and a haunting portrait of a child blinded by chemicals.
The exhibition, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Bewdley and opened by the town's Mayor, Derek Killingworth, is open during library hours from today until October 29.
