A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Kidderminster.

Between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, November 19, the woman, in her 20s, walked from Blackwell Street and was then attacked in an alleyway off the Stourbridge Road.

The offender is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, 6ft tall with a slim but muscular build. He is said to have scruffy brown hair and stubble and was wearing a green army style jumper and black jeans.

Detective Constable Jon Cooper from Wyre Forest CID said: “This was a serious sexual assault and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed it to get in touch with police as soon as possible.

“We would also appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything in this area of Kidderminster that they feel may be linked to the attack to pass this on.”

Police patrols in the area have been stepped up while investigations into the incident continue.
