A WOMAN has been injured in a crash in Bewdley this morning.

The collision involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot 307 on the B4194 at Blackstone Bank.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 7.56am. Both cars were “badly damaged”, with a wheel being knocked off one of them, said watch manager Mick Rowlands.

He added a woman in her 20s was taken to hospital with neck injuries.

Traffic is currently building up in the area as the road is cleared.

Disruption was also caused last night when a car overturned at about 5pm on the A456 Bewdley Bypass. No-one was injured in the incident.
