A WYRE Forest soul and R ‘n’ B band will give a charty concert to raise money for local Scouting group KD21.

Blind Lemon will give the performance to help raise funds to support Scouting activities.

That includes sending Cubs to France on the Kidderminster District Cubs camping holiday and buying new equipment for trips.

Blind Lemon have previously raised money for local charities and clubs like Kemp Hospice and Kidderminster Carolians.

Mark Searl, KD21 Scout leader, said: “We are continually striving to raise funds so that we can provide the very best Scouting experience for all our Scouts.

“Blind Lemon has been a great friend to KD21 and in the past has helped with raising funds for Operation Covert.

“The event is promising to be a fantastic night as Blind Lemon gigs usually are.”

The concert will take place at the Gainsborough House on Friday.
