TWO people have been taken to hospital following a house fire in Stourport this afternoon.
The fire broke out in the ground floor of the link detached property in Stagborough Way just after 3pm.
The couple from the house were taken to hospital after suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
The ground floor of the house has been left fire damaged and there is also extensive smoke damage throughout the rest of the property.
A caravan, that was in a garage next to the house, has also been destroyed.
Firefighters from Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley were scrambled to the scene.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels and one main jet to bring the fire under control.
