Cookley crash road to remain closed

THE stretch of the A449 at Cookley, where a woman has died after her car overturned this morning, will remain closed.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they had been called to the incident just before 6am. Two fire crews from Kidderminster attended and the female occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
A statement said: “Fire crews have now left the scene but the road is expected to remain closed for some time while an investigation into the collision continues.”
The crash happened at about 5.45am on the A449 between Cookley and Caunsall.
