'Great success' for park event

DOG owners went barking mad when they attended an event to raise health awareness and responsible pet ownership.
The Healthy Dog, Healthy Owner event was held at Baxter Gardens Park to highlight the importance of healthy lifestyles.
It was organised by The Friends of Baxter Gardens.
Organisations including NHS health trainers, Horsefair Listening Ears and Kidderminster Tennis Club had stalls at the park and there was also a selection of sporting activities such as swingball and basketball.
Susie MacTaggart, of the group, said: “Overall the day was a great success and we were delighted to see so many people coming down to use the park and enjoy the activities we had arranged for them.”
