New mini golf course in Wolverley

A MINI golf course has opened in Wolverley.

The Mini-Pro Golf Park has been created in the village for novice and keen golfers.

More than £80,000 has been spent on transforming the former Wolverley putting green to create the new 18-hole golf course, in Wolverley Road.

Matt Green, co-owner, said: “We’re very pleased with the reaction to the Mini-Pro Golf Park, Wolverley. We believe it’s a unique golfing experience and we’re already looking for sites to create more parks.”

He added: “Over the next 12 months we will be doing more to clear weeds from the river bank to support wildlife and plant meadow grasses on the golf park itself.

“This is a totally new way to play golf. We’ve created a course that can be enjoyed by everyone, in very pleasant surroundings.”
