Daytime burglary in Kidderminster

BRAZEN thieves burgled a house in Kidderminster in broad daylight and stole a large flat screen TV and a motorbike trailer.

They also took a number of expensive motorbike parts and tools stored in the garage of the property off St John’s Avenue.

A witness reported seeing a flatbed Transit style van at the property with two men and a boy inside following the theft, which happened between 10am and midday on Monday last week.

The boy was aged about 10, while the other two were older - one in his early 20s and the other in his late 40s.

Detective Constable David Louden, of Kidderminster CID, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity in the Blakebrook area on Monday, October 1, especially if they saw a van loaded up with any of the items listed.

"The thieves may try to sell on the items and therefore we would like to hear from anyone who has been offered items for sale similar to those stolen."

West Mercia Police launched force-wide initiative Citadel last month aimed at driving down the number of burglaries committed in the force area.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact Det Con Louden on 101, quoting incident 139-N-071012, or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

What is happening in Kidderminster these days? Every day another burglary is taking place, or an assault, or a fight Lawlessness seems to rule.

its not as bad as it seems ...I can walk from Sutton Road into the town centre at 9 pm on a saturday night in perfect safety and not see a soul, let alone anyone actually causing trouble!!

Same again:
No real punishment, so no fear of being caught.
Stick the judges out on a night shift and let them see how it really is. Bit of a difference from warm slippers, horlicks and the nanny looking after you eh??!
