A visual survey of Offmore farm estate Kidderminster was undertaken on 9th November 2010 by Comberton & Offmore Action Group and Disability Action Wyre Forest.

Rosemary Bishop Chair for Comberton & Offmore Action Group said “We identified a shortfall in pedestrian access points on the estate in particular a lack of drop kerbs that are a necessity for disabled and elderly residents.”

More than 20 issues have been identified and the majority have been reported directly to Worcestershire County Council and can be viewed on www.fixmystreet.com .

Also identified is the potential danger to visually impaired people using the zebra crossing in Tennyson Way.

Mr Lawley Chair for Disability Action Wyre Forest said “The crossing is a potential death trap for blind people.”

A follow up survey will be taking place and people interested in this can contact Rosemary Bishop on 07905529081.

Mr Lawley said "This was a pilot survey and were disappointed in the findings but not surprised the findings will help with Disability Action’s Access Census project in 2011."
