A TRADITIONAL English tea party in being held by Kemp Hospice in Bewdley.

Kateshill House will host the afternoon which will raise funds for Wyre Forest patients with life-limiting illnesses.

The ticket price includes a glass of bubbly on arrival followed by a traditional English tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes.

There will also be a tea-related raffle including prizes such as luxury tea, teapots, china and cakes.

Live classical music will be playing throughout the afternoon and the event will take place in a marquee in Kateshill House’s grounds.

Ele Millward, community fundraiser at Kemp Hospice, said: “Kateshill House is a stunning location and we’re really excited to be hosting a traditional English tea party in such an apt setting. We can’t guarantee sunshine, this is an English summer, but with the marquee, it will be an enjoyable event whatever the weather.

“After water, tea is the most consumed drink in the world. It’s not often we take the time out to truly enjoy tea the way it used to be served, so we decided to make it a special occasion whilst raising vital funds for the hospice”.

The event starts at 3pm. Tickets cost £15 and can be bought by calling 01562 756066, email elemillward@kemphospice.org.uk or visit kemphospice.org.uk
